Alpine Meadows

As the name implies this area features high altitude mountain living.  Many homes in this area afford beautiful mountain views and peaceful forested settings.  Alpine Meadows luxury homes can be found located throughout the area as well Alpine Meadows cabins and condos for sale. A main highlight for homeowners and visitors is the proximity to Alpine Meadows ski area located at the uppermost end of the area with excellent downhill skiing, an adaptive ski center and back-country ski access.  Neighborhoods within Alpine Meadows follow the canyon walls and the topography is mostly sloped.

Bear Creek subdivision falls under a HOA with private roads and a swimming pond. Juniper Mountain subdivision is on the north side of the canyon about halfway up with great views and better sun exposures.  There are approximately 5 condominium associations in Alpine meadows located close to the ski area as well as at the lower end of Alpine, closer to the river, bike trail and highway 89. There is a little known area at the bottom of Alpine called Alpine Springs Community Park with a swimming lake, tennis courts, and grass field. Use of this gated area requires an annual membership, but can be joined by anyone. 2013 season pass is $135.
