Agate Bay

The sunny north Lake Tahoe subdivision of Agate Bay is located between Tahoe Vista and Carnelian Bay. Agate Bay real estate prices, styles, ages and size vary on any given street, however, most residences in this lovely area have a “cabiny” feel and were built in the mid to late ’70’s. Agate Bay subdivision borders the highway and lake to the south and forest land to the north. Many people living in and visiting this area enjoy easy access to forest trails, public and private beach access and more. The central location of Agate Bay allows for convenience in summer and winter with the Brockway Vista Golf Course 2.6 miles away. Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort and ski area is 10 miles away up highway 267, Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley and Homewood are all approx. 14 miles away through Tahoe City and along River Road (Hwy 28). Stateline Casinos at Crystal Bay, NV is 4 miles east and Incline Village another 4 miles.

The Agate Pier and Swim Club offers members private gated lake access with pier and buoys as well as tennis courts, swimming pool and grassy picnic area are available for use by members. Membership in the two-tiered private HOA/Club requires ownership of property within the Agate Bay subdivision is either transferred from another member or purchased directly from the club. The swimming pool is open during summer months from 10:30 am-6:00 pm there is also a spa, snack bar and grassy area with a volleyball court. The pier is also open for use during the summer from 7:00 am-8:00 pm.
